Steps to Obtain Migration Certificate From GTU (Gujarat Technological University) & FEC (Final Eligibility Certificate) from Gujarat University in 2021


1. Go to https://student.gtu.ac.in/ and login or create a new account with your GTU enrolment number.



you should see a dashboard of your account after login as below, where you need to click on “CERTIFICATE REQUEST” from Menu as shown in the screenshot below:



 2. Insert necessary details of your address where you will need your Migration certificate delivered. Proceed to pay INR 150 and select “MIGRATION” from the dropdown menu of the “Type of Certificate” field. 


3. Upload photos (formatted similar to JPG, not PDFs) for your ID proof and Graduation Certificate/Provisional Certificate as mentioned there. And finish the process through an online payment. You shall receive it by post at your given address. Then proceed for Gujarat University’s process for Final Eligibility Certificate.



Make sure that you take the print of receipt generated after payment as shown below: 




3. Remaining process is to be done in person from Gujarat University as it is mentioned on Gujarat University’s website at this link: http://www.gujaratuniversity.org.in/web/WebFAQEliMig.asp 


  • Go to this side of the building, to room no 14, Gujarat University: https://maps.app.goo.gl/CXZuvavEE1oqbrkh8 



  • Ask for the Form for FEC and they will provide you with this: 



  • Fill it up and submit with attaching the following with it: 

  1. Photocopy of PEC received in the Email.
  2. Original Migration certificate from your previous University of UG (Under Graduation)
  3. UG completion certificate and/or Last semester mark sheet

The content below is a formal copy of Official Instructions to obtain FEC by Gujarat University Website: 

“How to get an Eligibility Certificate?

          The application form is available from Consumer Stores (Room No. 1) by paying cash Rs. 10/- and also available on the university website.

          After paying the fees of Rs. 100/- at Cash Counter (Window No. 19), the form should be returned in the Eligibility section (Room No. 14) with fee receipt.

          Certificate (in original) to be attached with a certified true copy of each certificate.

Without which the application form will not be accepted and/or attended. The original certificates will be returned after checking. ( Xerox copy must be certified. )

          Migration Certificate: Certificate from the Registrar of the University or Public Body from which

the applicant has passed the Examination named above permitting him to prosecute his studies in the Gujarat University. (Original certificate will not be returned.)

          Passing Certificate: Certificate, signed by the Registrar or the Secretary of the Public Body of the last Examination passed by the applicant in another University or Public Body, stating the examination and the subject in which the examination was passed. A certificate of marks obtained by the applicant at the examination will not be accepted because of this.

          Certificate of Marks: Certificate signed by the Registrar of the University or the secretary of the Public Body of the last examination passed by the applicant from another University or Public Body stating the subject wise Marks and the result clearly in which the examination was passed.

          Passing Certificate: From the Principal to obtain a provisional Eligibility Certificate. A Provisional Eligibility Certificate to join a college will be issued only on the production of documentary evidence of passing the examination issued either by the Head of Institution or the Registrar of the University, or the Secretary of Education Board. The statement of marks will be accepted for a provisional certificate.

          The candidate should obtain the final eligibility certificate before the end of the term by producing the required remaining Certificate from his/her previous University/Board, failing to which his/her admission etc. is liable to the cancelled. In case of not joining the college within one month from obtaining the Provisional Eligibility Certificate of this University, may please be informed accordingly in writing to the University office without fail.

          Please enclose 10th & 12th and all Examination Graduate Xerox attested Copy of Mark-sheets with form.”
